Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-06

Short version: We do not use marketing or tracking cookies on https://www.betterops.co. Our analytics provider is cookieless. There is nothing here for an EU cookie banner to ask you to consent to, so you won't see one.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Cookies are commonly used to keep you logged in, remember preferences, or - most controversially - track you across sites for advertising. The latter is what privacy regulators are concerned about, and is what we don't do.

What we do not use

What we do use

Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless)

We measure aggregate traffic using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare designed to be privacy-respecting. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect any personal data. It records aggregate metrics such as page views, referrers, and approximate country.

Cloudflare Turnstile (form anti-bot)

When you submit our contact form or the assessment quiz, Cloudflare Turnstile evaluates whether the request looks human. Turnstile is Cloudflare's privacy-respecting CAPTCHA replacement. It may set short-lived first-party storage in narrow circumstances strictly to verify the challenge - it does not track you across sites.

Strictly necessary cookies

If we ever set a cookie that is strictly necessary for the Site to function - for example, to remember that you've dismissed a notice - it will be:

As of the date above, we have not deployed any such cookies.

Server logs

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's edge keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) for a short period for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are not cookies and are not used for marketing.

Embedded third-party content

We avoid embedding tracker-heavy third-party content. If a future page embeds something like a YouTube video or a TidyCal scheduling iframe, that third party may set its own cookies when you interact with the embed. Where possible we use privacy-enhanced embeds and load them only on user interaction.

If we add a cookie or change a tool described above, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date.
